Privacy Policy
This section explains what information Mythic Vale collects when you use the app, why we collect it, and who we share it with.
§ 1
Information we collect
Account and authentication data. When you create an account, we receive your email address and, if you sign in with a social provider, your name and profile picture from that provider.
Profile information you provide. Your display name, bio, location, an external contact link (for example, a Discord handle or messaging app), and your preferred pricing source.
Collection and inventory data. The cards you track in your binders — names, sets, quantities, condition, foil status, and the prices and notes you assign to them.
Market Feed listings. The cards, prices, and details you include in posts when you list something to sell, buy, or trade.
Messages and photos. The text and photos you send through in-app chat with other users.
Reviews and ratings. Reviews and star ratings you leave for other users, or that other users leave for you, after a deal.
Usage and technical data. Standard server logs collected automatically by our hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps.

How we use it
We use your information to operate and maintain the app; to show your public profile, listings, and reviews to other users; to enable messaging between buyers and sellers; to calculate your collection's value using third-party pricing data; and to send you account-related emails, such as verification and password-reset messages.
If we introduce paid features in the future — such as a premium subscription or paid listing placement — we'll use payment information only to process that transaction, through a payment processor rather than storing your card details ourselves.

Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers. We do rely on a small set of trusted service providers to run Mythic Vale, each of which processes data strictly on our behalf to provide a specific piece of the app's infrastructure — including account authentication, in-app messaging and photo storage, application hosting, database hosting, and delivery of account emails. We don't share your information with these providers for any purpose beyond running the app.
Card pricing shown in the app is sourced from third-party pricing data providers. This is one-directional — we use their pricing data, but we don't send them any information about you.
§ 4
What other users can see
Your display name, avatar, bio, location (if you've added one), member-since date, active Market Feed listings, and reviews are visible to any other signed-in user. Messages are private to the two participants in that conversation — no one else can read them.
§ 5
Retention & deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can edit or remove your profile details, binders, and listings at any time from within the app. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us using the details in Section 11.
§ 6
Your rights & choices
You can access and update most of your information directly in your profile and settings. You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law.
§ 7
Children's privacy
Mythic Vale is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
§ 8
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
§ 9
International users
Mythic Vale is hosted in the United States. If you use the app from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed there.
§ 10
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, let you know within the app.

Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Mythic Vale. By creating an account, you agree to them.
§ 1
What Mythic Vale is (and isn't)
Mythic Vale is a tool for tracking your Magic: The Gathering collection and a place to discover other collectors' Market Feed listings and message them about a potential deal.
Mythic Vale is not a marketplace that processes payments, verifies identities, authenticates cards, or ships anything. We are not a party to any transaction between users. Any deal you make — payment, shipping, condition, authenticity — is arranged and completed entirely between you and the other user, off-platform, at your own discretion and risk.
§ 2
Eligibility & your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use Mythic Vale. You agree to provide accurate account information and are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
§ 3
Your content
You retain ownership of what you post — your listings, messages, photos, and reviews. By posting it, you grant Mythic Vale a license to display it within the app to the users it's meant for. You're solely responsible for making sure what you post is accurate and doesn't violate anyone's rights or the law.
§ 4
Marketplace disclaimer
Mythic Vale does not verify the identity of any user, the authenticity or condition of any card, or the accuracy of any listing.
Ratings and reviews are self-reported by the users who write them and are not independently verified by Mythic Vale. Use your own judgment, and exercise normal caution when arranging a deal or meeting someone you connected with through the app.
§ 5
Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Defraud or attempt to scam another user;
- List counterfeit, stolen, or illegal items;
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users;
- Send spam or unsolicited commercial messages;
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent the app's normal limits.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this section.
§ 6
Fees & subscriptions
Mythic Vale is currently free to use. We may introduce optional paid features in the future, such as a premium subscription with higher limits, or paid placement for a listing. Any paid feature will be clearly labeled, priced up front, and billed through a third-party payment processor before you're charged.
§ 7
Termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms. You may stop using Mythic Vale and request account deletion at any time.
§ 8
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Mythic Vale is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mythic Vale is not liable for disputes, losses, or damages arising from a transaction or interaction between users, including deals that go wrong.
§ 9
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
§ 10
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use Mythic Vale after a change means you accept the updated terms.
